Debuting on September 20, 1953, The Six Shooter starred film legend James Stewart as Britt Ponsett. Stewart's character would often find himself wandering into other people's troubles and usually having to shoot his way out. Throughout the series, Ponsett could be seen performing in Hamlet, running for both mayor and sheriff of the same town at the same time, starring in a western version of Cinderella, and telling the tale of A Christmas Carol to a runaway. |
